IEEE Geographic Units annually host a wide variety of events to reach various audiences.
To find local meetings and events hosted by IEEE Section, Subsection, Chapter, Affinity Group and Student Branches please visit IEEE vTools Events. IEEE vTools Events is more than just a place to report past meeting activity. It is an event management tool that enables IEEE Sections, Subsections, Chapters, Affinity Groups and Student Branches to schedule, promote and report (L31) IEEE meetings and events. We highly encourage all geo units to use vTools Events to schedule future meetings.
- vTools Events also offers event registration which, if setup, will automatically send the proceeds of the event to the organizational unit’s Concentration Banking account or to an external account for organizational units outside of the United States or Canada.
- All vTools Events and IEEE sponsored conferences are displayed in IEEE Collabratec™ and a data feed can be used in your organization's website calendar.
Looking to plan a larger event? The IEEE Meetings, Conferences & Events group (MCE) consists of several teams that support IEEE event-related activities. MCE is a dedicated partner made up of event industry experts driven to shape innovative and high-quality events.

- Please visit the vTools portal to learn about IEEE-recommended tools for conducting and recording remote or offline meetings and making them available for searching and viewing after the meeting. The portal includes information on accessing the tools, tutorials, and best practices.
