Concentration Banking Program
The NextGen Banking, or the Concentration Banking Program, offers IEEE organizational units and conferences a bank account with no monthly fees or minimum balance requirements. The unit or conference treasurer controls the account activity. You can make deposits, issue disbursements, and coordinate payments to vendors. Checks can be requested and processed through the online bank portal with no limits or written via a checkbook with a maximum check writing limit of 25K. You can opt-in to receive a NextGen Banking/Concentration Banking Card with debit features, which can be used internationally wherever credit cards are accepted. Interest is earned on the daily ending balance, and reports are viewable online. Out-of-pocket expenses can be reimbursed through Concur and get directly debited from your NextGen Banking account. Two authorized signers, a Treasurer, and a Chair, are required to have a NextGen Banking account.

Internal Audit Services
The IEEE Operations Audit Department is prepared to audit your GeoUnit and/or conference financial statements and provide you an excellent rate for this service. GeoUnits and/or conferences with budgeted/actual revenues/expenses of US$250,000 or more are required to have an audit of their financial statements by a professional independent outside source. GeoUnits and/or conferences with revenues of less than US$250,000 will be audited on a rotational basis. In either case, the audit must be pre-approved by the IEEE Audit Department.

Contract assistance

Section Rebate Program
This program provides added incentive for sections to submit required reporting in a timely manner by offering substantial financial rebates.
Eligibility for benefits – which include an annual allowance, per capita membership rebates, chapter rebates, affinity group rebates, subsection rebates, activity bonus, and a ten percent bonus for reporting by the February deadline – is based on officer, financial, and meeting activity reporting.
