Dartmouth Joins IEEE DataPort as an Institutional Subscriber

Dartmouth Joins IEEE DataPort as an Institutional Subscriber

Did you know that Dartmouth College recently joined IEEE DataPort as a Premium Institutional Subscriber? As part of their subscription, they are migrating their Crawdad wireless network data collection of more than 135 datasets to IEEE DataPort.

Hosting the CRAWDAD collection on IEEE DataPort allows the research community to continue adding new datasets to the collection and provides a strong source of wireless trace data to the community. The IEEE DataPort platform will provide additional capabilities to CRAWDAD contributors, such as citation tracking, dataset file management through AWS, and messaging with other platform users. IEEE DataPort is committed to storing and hosting the collection for long-term accessibility and usability.

Do you have a data collection you’d like to migrate or could your organization benefit from having their research data all in one trusted location? With an institutional subscription, every member of your organization will have access to 3,500+ datasets, the ability to host and share your own research data, and exclusive features such as Data Management Plan creation tool, organizational dashboards, and collaboration functions.

The IEEE-HKN GrabLab Youtube series offers insightful conversations, presentations and resources for students considering Graduate School or in Graduate School. Our most recent episode addresses a very common concern among PhD students: How to manage interpersonal relationships, managing interpersonal connections in different scenarios including, between group members, between students and their PI’s as well as between students and other collaborators. Here our goal is to unravel the dynamics that can occur and discuss ways to overcome the uncomfortable scenarios and enhance the relationships even beyond their preassigned roles.
