MGA Certificates of Appreciation

MGA Certificates of Appreciation are intended to recognize services rendered to IEEE while serving in an IEEE officer position.

  • Section Chair
  • Chapter Chair
  • Affinity Group Chair (Consultants Network, Life Members, Women in Engineering, Young Professionals)

Eligibility, selection, and award instrument

  •     No nomination required;
  •    The Section Secretary should notify the Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Department of the term of office of the Chair
  •     MGA will automatically issue a certificate to the Chair when his/her term of office expires
  •     May also be requested by any Regional entity for special presentation
  •     Recipient will receive a Certificate of Appreciation, signed by appropriate individual(s):
        Section Chair - the IEEE President
        Chapter Chair - Vice President, Technical Activities, and Vice President, Member, and Geographic Activities
        Affinity Group Chair - the Regional Director
