Host a Data Competition on IEEE DataPort

Host a Data Competition

In addition to giving users the opportunity to access and upload datasets, the IEEE DataPort platform also includes a Data Competitions Module that enables researchers to collect valuable feedback and analysis on their research data. To initiate a Data Competition, users create a time-limited data challenge by uploading a dataset up to 2TB to IEEE DataPort. Members of the global technical community, or a select set of participants, can then provide their specific analyses, or make predictions based on the dataset.

Other benefits and features of the IEEE DataPort Data Competitions Module include the following:

  • Free to initiate or participate
  • Time frame is fully customizable by the competition initiator and can range from a few days to one year
  • Datasets can be downloaded for analysis or accessed directly in the Cloud
  • Data Competition results are consolidated and easy to evaluate, and each analysis receives a unique DOI
  • Registered users may submit comments and private messages to competition leads

Click here to view active IEEE DataPort Data Competitions and learn more about hosting your own competition today:
